INSIDE MOUNT

A) Measure the WIDTH (side-to-side) of the window frame opening in three places (top, middle, bottom). Round the measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. Order this width.

B) Measure the HEIGHT (top-to-bottom) of the window frame.

C) Measure the available DEPTH. The minimum depth for flush inside mount 1 3/8 inches while the minimum inside mount depth is 1 1/2 inches. Be careful not to include inside moldings/tracks! Measure only the space that is available to install your blinds.

OUTSIDE MOUNT

A) Measure the WIDTH of the area to be covered. The recommended overlap is at least 1 inches on each side of the window. Generally the recommanded overlap is at least 1 1/2 inches on each side of the window. For Roman and roll-up shades allow at least 2 inches on each side.

Record the desired width: _____ inches to the nearest 1/8". Order this width.

B) Measure the LENGTH in three different places: from the top right, top left, and top center of the window to the desired length (typically this is to the windowsill or floor). Use the longest measurement.

C) Add 3" for bracket installation above the opening/trim.

FRAME MOUNT:

A) Measure the WIDTH (side-to-side) from edge to edge across the top of your window frame. Mark this measurement (to the nearest 1/8"inch).

B) Measure the exact HEIGHT (top-to-bottom) from the upper edge to the lower edge of your window frame. Mark this measurement.

C) Measure the DEPTH of 1 1/2 inches. Be sure that any protruding sill, ledge or molding won't interfere with the hanging of your blinds
